Year 11 GCSE Results 2020 - Message from the Headteacher

At the end of a most unusual year, we would like to celebrate the achievements of all our Year 11 students. Yet, even as late as last night we were asked not to release BTEC results and we apologise for the upset that may cause. We will release those results as soon as we are able to. The stories in the media recently should not detract from the years of hard work that Year 11 students have put in to achieve their results.

Congratulations to all our students in key stage 4, who have shown great effort and determination despite the unprecedented circumstances of the past five months.

The effort, commitment and strength of character of this year group cannot be doubted and their results, despite not being able to sit their exams in the summer, are fully deserved. Thank you to parents, carers and families who have provided so much support to our students and the school, during extremely difficult times.

I would also like to thank all the staff at the school for their hard work and strong commitment especially during the crucial period when they had to carefully consider the centre assessment grades for our students.

We wish all students the very best for the future and, as always, we will be offering our usual post-results support to any student who needs advice or guidance.

Llongyfarchiadau i'n holl fyfyrwyr yng nghyfnod allweddol 4, sydd wedi dangos cryn ymdrech a phenderfyniad er gwaethaf amgylchiadau digynsail y pum mis diwethaf.

Ni ellir amau ymdrech, ymrwymiad a chryfder cymeriad y grŵp blwyddyn hwn ac mae eu canlyniadau, er na allant sefyll eu harholiadau yn yr haf, yn gwbl haeddiannol. Diolch i rieni a theuluoedd sydd wedi rhoi cymaint o gefnogaeth i'n myfyrwyr a'r ysgol, yn ystod cyfnod hynod o anodd. Hoffwn hefyd ddiolch i holl staff yr ysgol am eu gwaith caled a'u hymroddiad cadarn, yn enwedig yn ystod y cyfnod allweddol pan fu'n rhaid iddynt ystyried yn ofalus y graddau asesiad ar gyfer ein myfyrwyr.

Dymunwn y gorau i bob myfyriwr ar gyfer y dyfodol. Byddwn yn cynnig ein cymorth ôl-ganlyniadau arferol i unrhyw fyfyriwr sydd angen cyngor neu arweiniad.
