Attendance
We want to work with you to promote excellent attendance at school. The school awards a range of prizes for pupils and forms with excellent attendance. We are always happy to help you if you have any difficulties. Please contact us at the school. We are also required to share the information below from the Welsh Government and Local Authority.
The Welsh Government expects all pupils to attend school at least 95% of the time. Missing school jeopardises your child’s chances of fulfilling his/her potential as regular attendance improves the chances of children being successful at school. If children are not in school the likelihood is that they are not learning.
We will no longer authorise family holidays or routine appointments taken during term time.
